We can meet most of your client's needs. When you figure in the additional cost factor it is hard to paint with a broad brush. We are completely Direct To Plate - This eliminates all the photochemical and it saves water and energy. We were on board with this practice as soon as the technology was made available. We have maintained the most current equipment as they become even more efficient. There is no real added cost here because we do this on every job.

We have established a comprehensive recycling program, we recycle our printing plate and paper waste, these practices save material and reduce air pollution. These are practices we do regularly and there is no additional cost associated with this. Riverside always use alcohol-free inks, this improves air and water quality, workers health and safety as well as reducing chemical use. Once again no additional cost is connected to this practice because we do it regularly . We sometimes print on treeless and recycled content papers, this is most always determined by the client . If they request this we can provide it, this saves trees, energy and water. It encourages new agricultural development and keeps paper out of landfills. The cost associated with this Synthetic paper is 25-30% more than non-synthetic paper. Post Consumer recycled paper is generally 10-20% more expensive than non-recycled stock.

We always sequence print jobs by ink color, we keep the ink in the press until we are done for the day with that color
. This practice saves ink changes, labor and ink waste. Once again no additional cost is connected to this practice because we do it regularly. We also have established an inventory control system.This reduces waste to landfill and saves money and time. Once again no additional cost is connected to this practice because we do it regularly.
